Clothing Care Tips

Here are a few things I've learned on how to wash and take care of your clothing:

1. Turn all of your clothes inside out before washing and drying them. This helps protect them from fading and protects the printing.
2. Always use cold water. It's gentler on your clothes.
3. Avoid using strong detergents and use the smallest amount possible.
4. Sort your clothing by color but also by clothes type. Separate heavier and thicker items such as jeans and towels to avoid them damaging items like custom printed shirts. Through contact and friction in the washing and drying process some items could be damaged.
5. Don't put your clothes in the dryer on the hottest settings! Also make sure not to over dry them or have them in the dryer for longer than necessary. In order to have the prints last as long as possible and to prevent early cracking this is considered to be one of the most important steps in preserving your custom printed apparel.
   
   

• Use the delicate settings on your washer and dryer if they are available!
• Be mindful when hanging shirts on clothes hangers. Through time and rough handling the collars can become slightly stretched.
